Saint-Petersburg State University
Saint-Petersburg State University is the oldest university in Russia. It’s history counts more than three centuries. It is one of the most important cultural and academic centers. The university has reach experience in international collaboration in spheres of science, education, culture; it cooperates with educational institutions of Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
Nowadays more than 100 collaboration arrangements with more than 50 universities all over the world are active. Every year more than 1500 students from Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia graduate from Saint-Petersburg State University. University diploma is acknowledged almost all over the world.
Psychology faculty was established in 1966 on the basis of philosophical department. Basic ideas, which compile the basis of faculty’s concept, were developed by famous academicians and psychologists B. Ananiev, V. Miasishchev, A. Yarmolenko, N. Tikh, J. Samarin, E. Kuzmin, B. Lomov. Mr. Lomov was the first dean of Leningrad’s psychological faculty. During the IV International market he noticed the book “Clinical Ontopsychology”. A year later, in Roma he met the author of the book, Professor Antonio Meneghetti, founder of ontopsychological science.
Ten years were needed to let intuition and deep seriousness of scientifical understanding be finally transformed into the collaboration between psychological faculty of Saint-Petersburg State University and International Association of Ontopsychology.
